Shanghai born, Karl Bang was formally trained in the 1940's by the master artists of Chinese painting and in the European painting tradition in France and Belgium. This cross-cultural fusion of styles has earned him the title "Master of Contemporary Eclecticism". For Karl, painting woman goes much deeper than their outer beauty. He sees women as epitomising the gentler instincts of humankind - nuturing, gentility, truth and inner strength.

This is a great looking design from the Disney range. It is worked in counted cross stitch, with some back stitching, on 14 count white Aida, and comes with plenty of thread to complete, together with full, easy to follow, instructions. ( DPPV100 © Disney.)
